The aroma is mild with some maltiness. Flavor is predominatley malty with caramel malt. LIttle hop to the beer. checkmatei1 (629), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 7, 2007 This was definately my favorite beer of the summer. It has a roasted carmel flavor with a smooth after taste. After a hot day working in the yard, this cerveza was very refreshing. I have purchased 3 cases this past summer and could drink this all year round. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Oct 25, 2007 12 oz bottle. Coppery pour with a bubbly tan head that dissipates quickly. Very mild nose, sweet malt and honey with a hint of toffee. Flavor is a lightly buttered caramel, a bit of toasted malt. A light breadiness is apparent in the finish. Pretty drinkable. onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA Oct 18, 2007 It’s fuzzy like soda on your mouth. It’s sweet - I think def has an interesting flavor. John had it too we agree on something?! Beerman6686 (1263), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 17, 2007 tried this one on draft, it was worth the money since i knew what i was getting, but nothign special at all Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Oct 16, 2007 Sampled as part of BJCP training. Note that the first bottle we opened was clearly infected, with a really nasty sourness. Second bottle was from the same sixer and fine. Go figure. Rating from the uninfected sample. Medium amber. Definite sweet corn aroma. Very suagery malt sweetness throughout, no real hops showing up at all to me, despite looking for them. Just too sweet for me. clong83 (243), San Diego, California, USA Oct 14, 2007 Very interesting brew. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel, with bold flavors of vanilla, caramel, and maybe butterscotch. Some spiced flavors are in there as well, but no real hop presence that I noticed. I’ve never really had a beer like this one before, and it was quite enjoyable.
