Commercial Description:
This copper colored ale is a silky, creamy dream. It’s malty, very mildly hopped, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. A cool beer for the heat, whatever your latitude!

A cream ale with some attitude, a definite fruitiness, though the finish is a bit odd. Sweetish with creamy orangey colour and good foamy ice cream head.

12 oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy deep orange color. Head was thick and white. There was a bit of lace left on the glass at the end. Aroma was of malty caramel and vanilla. Sweet (but not cloyingly so) on the tongue with a smooth mouth feel. Tasted of vanilla wafer, caramel, and a hint of orange cream. Refreshing.

16 ounce sample on tap at Woodstock’s Pizza in Davis, CA. Estery, funky, sour peaches with some pepperiness in the nose. I also detect some cranberries in the aroma with a light sweetness. Unique. Moderately hazy ruddy amber body with a pinkish-tan head. Strawberry, funky, lightly sweet start. Becomes a bit tart with some caramel maltiness in the middle. Lightly hopped dry, floral, herbal finish. Different and decent.

Tried a couple bottles of this, one cold, and one at mny cellar temperature (56 degrees). Warmer is better. Poise a rich golden color with a moderate white head and good lacing. Nose is milt, with sweet malts and piney hops. Mouthfeel is light and a bit thin. Flavor is apricot and peach. Don’t drink this too cold it is quite tasty.

Thin, weak, and bland - all in all a true summer drink. Very light-sweet malt with complimenting light hop essence. Everything about this is soft and light. Slightly creamy altough a little too thin to really be enjoyable.

Pours a sparkling medium brown with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma is of carmel, cookies, with hints of apple and vinilla. Inital flavor is balanced twords the sweet malty side and finishes the same. Phenols of vinilla, spice and light hops. Light to med bodied, watery and softly carbonated.

12 oz bottle - clear medium amber color with small off white head. Aroma has fair amount of caramel malts and notable honey, hint of apricot, with a definite apple juice quality. Flavor is full of toasted malts, bit of apricot and peach, flight floral notes. Finish is mildly sweet. Just kind of average.

Bottle. A bit sugary, almost sticky, for a summer beer. I did not know this was a cream ale at purchase. Bright amber color with a decent off-white slowly dissipating head. A nice fruity, candy flavor than finishes off a bit spicy, hoppy. Pleasant, but I won’t return to this one.
