This one doesn’t have much of a smell, maybe a bit of a spice. The taste was creamy, taste a bit like there is some toffee in there. This one is ok. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Pours a hazy copper with a decent head that fads fast. Spotted lacing. Smells a little hoppy with a slight spice. Very easy, smooth drinking light beer, with a sweet and malty flavor. Very refreshing. No lingering after taste at all. Lip smacking good. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 26, 2007 This beer pours a copper red color (as promised), with a decent amount of heads which fades to a consistent coating across the top of the beer. Aroma is rather balanced; malt, hops and "spice" all sort of meld together. More and more I’m noticing mouthfeel before flavor...it is a bit watery but rather effervescent and pleasant simultaneously. Flavor is malty and sweet and not really all that great. I don’t think this beer is all that drinkable, and I don’t believe I’ll be having this again. swoopjones (1897), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2007 Aroma of fruit and vanilla? Deep amber color with ruby hilites; frothy white head that tried to lace on the rapid way to oblivion. Starts with vanilla. Very creamy. Then stone fruit. Malt and hop seem quite balanced, but the vanilla spice note tends to dominate. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA

Definitley darker than what I would usually expect from a cream ale. This is a very fruity beer and creamy. It is very smooth but relatively heavy on the palate. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 21, 2007 This is hands down the best cream ale I have ever had. You it actually tastes like cream. Pour was a dark gold (yes..dark). Aroma of malt. Tastes like a beer float. Nice creamy but crisp mouthfeel with good carbonation and a hint of malt. The malt goes down sweet enough to cancel out any hop bitterness and put a delcious end to this gem.
