Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma is odd but spices, malt and toffee are detectable. Tastes of dried fruit, malt, caramel with some hops present.

Slight vanilla flavors as well, over a light body with medium carbonation. Smooth and drinkable, but not very interesting.

Sep 20, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty creamy caramel flavor with some chocolate hints. Sweetish malty caramel finish.

Sep 20, 2008 12 oz. bottle from WIne Warehouse in Charlottesville. Deep red pour with a medium head. Low retention and lacing. Grainy, cereal like aroma with mild caramel notes. Taste is uber-grainy with notes of grain, cereal and caramel. Slightly toasty. Medium body. Overall tasty.
