apshah99 (77), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 20, 2008 Copper pour with off-white thick head that dissipated fairly quickly. There is a little malt and spice in the faint aroma. Starts out a little sweet with some vanilla but kind of ends up with sour fruit. The aftertaste isn’t too pleasing, but it is just about perfect on the palate for a cream ale. I originally remember really liking this but the past few times haven’t done it for me. I had a Genny Cream before this one and actually liked it better; maybe I’m crazy today.
darn1207 (227), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2008 12oz bottle. amber-orange color with off-white head. spice, hop, orange and toffee aroma. taste is creamy, vanilla, butterscotch and orange. finishes like the bottom of a bowl of sugar cereal. ok - not my favorite. K-7 jjpm74 (2878), Connecticut, USA Aug 16, 2008 Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells of some light hops, caramel, doughy. Tastes light and malty with a hint of a citrus note. Sparky27 (498), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 15, 2008 12oz Bottle. Pours a clear medium amber with one finger tan head. Nose is light citrus and vanilla. Taste is toffee, vanilla, spice and tangy citrus. Medium mouth feel. An ok beer. ajm (304), USA Aug 13, 2008 This is a strange little beer. Bottle from SunDevil. Looks and smells great - like an eisbock, actually. But the flavor is so thin and delayed. The whole experience is in the finish, with a watery yeastiness for the first two thirds. Ends with a sharp crust and almost old grain texture. nearbeer (1199), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Aug 13, 2008 12 oz. Clear dark brown with a small spit of creamy foam. Molasses and chocolate aroma. Tastes of caramel, chocolate, vanilla cream and slight woody herb hops. Light-medium body is very lightly carbonated and has just enough dryness on the end.
