2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUN 24, 2008 Looks like any other ubiquitous pale yellow american beer. Just a little hazy. Smells fairly good, without any negative connotations. Decent carbonation on the palate. First taste is sort of alky on the impact. Fairly bitter initial taste bud sensations. Has an interesting orange peel hint in the background. Short biting bitter finish. Not quite what I was expecting in a wheat beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
5%ABV. Cream Ale.
Tapped out Amber. 14ºSRM.
Nose has some pleasant phenolic-beery type aromas. Cream corn and corn nuts in the nose.
Mouthfeel is watery. Palate is nutty and with black bread and a flavor of nut loaf. There are some nice spicy elements suggesting nutmeg.
Finish is beery.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
Piwo bardzo dziwne, kiepskie naprawde. Niezbyt mi przypadlo do gustu. Z pewnoscia na lato bym go nie zabral bo popsulo by mi nastroj. Jasne klarowne i bez piany. Aromat zerowy, nic po prostu nie wyczulem. W smaku przypominalo nadgnite gruszki. Odrazajace. Nie polecam

Bottle from Beer and Wine. Darker gold body with medium, lasting head. Nose is skunky, herbal, malts. Taste is also malts, wheat, spices and grains. Not a tantastic beer.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I like this beer. Poured from a 12-oz. can. Very creamy mouth-feel. Vanilla dominates. Not hoppy, but a fine summer refreshment.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

12 oz can shared with ebone1988 from Dumpster Box No. 2. The pour is a darker coppery color with a finger of dense white head that falls to a film leaving a couple spots of lace. The aroma is very sweet. There is a little spiciness and a general mash presence from being old. It's a little overly sweet with a touch of spice that prevents it from being cloying. The flavor is strong in vanilla up front. It's surprising and lovely. There is a maltiness that comes through on the back and a light spiciness that reminds me of a vanilla birthday cake. There isn't a whole lot happening, but it's definitely drinkable. This one was a surprise.
