COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2008 Looks like any other ubiquitous pale yellow american beer. Just a little hazy. Smells fairly good, without any negative connotations. Decent carbonation on the palate. First taste is sort of alky on the impact. Fairly bitter initial taste bud sensations. Has an interesting orange peel hint in the background. Short biting bitter finish. Not quite what I was expecting in a wheat beer.

Unique among summer brews. Pours Amber with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavor of toffee and caramel. More of an autumn beer than a summer one.

(Bottle). This is a weird summer brew. Definitely a vegetable herbal flavor with hazy amber complexion. Mildly flavored with some light citrus. Not impressive from an awesome brewer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml can at GH. Amber with no head. Aroma with lots of caramel, toffee, sugar and slight perfumy marmalade. Taste is sweet, a bit stale, toffee, sugar with a sugary finish

Bottle 355ml, a cloudy copper beer with low head. Nose is on plastic and cake ! Aroma is on caramel, light honey, sourish background, toasted caramel, light marzipan, not exceptional.

Bottle. dark amber color. Malt and plums in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with plums, appelmoes and hints of spices. Caramel. Nothing special.

Poured from can. Aroma of burnt caramel and vanilla. Solid amber. Caramel and vanilla dominate flavor, along with banana, citrus and a hint of pepper. Slightly sour. Not a lot of carbonation. Decent, but I think it used to be better.

Very nice easy drinking copper colored ale. A rather unexpected but welcomed caramelish sweetness on the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured deep reddish brown with a frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, chocolate, biscuit, liquorice. Medium body, flavour is medium sweet, lightly bitter. Quite medicinal.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2015 On tap at In De Buurt, Zwolle. Aroma of vanilla, malt, caramel, herbal notes, a bit creamy. Flavour is medium sweet. Too thin, not good. Nasty herbal vanilla beer, a big disappointment.

(bottle - 12 oz) Dark gold with a thin white head. Hints of cinnamon? Weird for a summer beer. Lightly fruity and sweet with an overbearing hint of cinnamon throughout. Confusing.
