COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

Bottle. Mostly clear, filtered. Gold with a white head. Sweetened perfume and wheat nose, coriander and potpourri, artificially sweet. Light body, dissolves over the back. Lightly sweetened cream and perfumed lemon. Dull and artificial.

i bought this not knowing anything about it -- what style it was. it’s not noted on the can, aside from "ale with natural flavor added". but what flavor?! it’s got a very sweet, creamy, honey, nougat like nose, and flavor to match. very sweet, malty and with a cream soda-like flavor. fairly full bodied. i’m looking for something lighter, and less sweet in a summer beer. but this one is unique and interesting.

Can. Nice transparent dark copper color. Small white head. Carmel malty aroma and flavor with some vanilla too. Great light beer for summertime IMO.

Has a light, doughy aroma. Pretty smooth and lightly carbonated. Easy to drink. Granola-like taste.

No canning date.
Appearance: The body is clear and copper with a tall and dense light tan head. The head slowly settles into a thick and frothy coating. This is an outstanding looking beer.
Aroma: Malty with a cream soda like aroma. Corn is noted along with caramel.
Taste: As they say, this reminds me of cream soda. Corn is on the intro with a creamer flavor right into caramel with a slight fruitiness on the finish.
Palate: Light to medium bodied, low in carbonation. Creamy feeling.
Overall: I’m not sure why this is listed as a wheat ale, as it’s a cream ale, but it’s pretty decent. I’m not in love with it, but it’s a good beer for the Summer.

Aroma is raspberries and malts, bordering on a fruit beer. The flavor is raspberries, biscuit malts, mild sweetness and late dash of hops in the finish.

On tap at Park St Tavern on 5/2/13. Clear copper pour with a medium off-white head. Malt forward nose of caramel and corn sweetness (presuming that’s the wheat). Malty and corny flavor with a caramel sweet finish.

12oz can. Pours amber, hazy, thin ring of beige head. Nose has pretty heavy caramel notes. Taste has caramel, toasty notes, straw, trace citrus. Finishes with toasty wheat notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Not getting any spice, a bit sweet, but otherwise ok.
