Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

On tap at a local wine bar, pours a dark copper/brown...extremely smooth and well balanced. I have yet to have an AV brew that doesn’t impress. Well done.

this is absolutely NOT High Rollers Wheat (was sent here to rate High Rollers). Not even close... "a simple, but tasty summer brew. the summer and winter seasonals are the least complex and easiest to make brews that AV makes, but they are both nice. hardly any hops, light bodied, smooth as hell with a creamy creamy finish and aroma."

Malty spicy aroma. Darker and maltier than I would expect for a summer beer. Maybe slight peppery? Good amount of body and flavor. Bit of an odd aftertaste. Almost a slight soapy ness to the aftertaste. Good beer and would drink for a summer beer with more body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Sugaya. Moderate caramel nose, with roast malt, candy, spice, cinnamon, and vanilla. Hazy copper/amber color, thin head, some lace, and fat lazy bubbles. Cirtrus and vanilla, cough drops, coconut, and light medium-dry finish. Thin-medium body. Gentle. fruity, and mildy spicy. Very fizzy in mid palate.

Creamy for sure. No really aroma other than some malt/grain. Smooth and almost notes of vanilla.

Poured from a12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Strong malt scent with little else backing it up. Appearance- A nice copper color with a small white head. Taste- Strong malt flavor, totally expected a different taste, not bad just didn’t expect it. Palate- Medium bodied creamy feel, OK to me Overall- nice color, ok aroma and taste. I have had better from Anderson Valley

Brownish, clear, with yellow creamy head that lasts somewhat. Malty aroma with a hint of orange. Malt, vanilla, caramel with strong caramel bitterness in the aftertaste.

Amber color, good carbonation. The nose was a sweet grassy smell. The taste seemed to be really sweet for a summer beer, too much of a caramel taste for me. A light mouth feel which I expect from a summer beer. Overall, not a beer I care to revisit, too sweet.

Pours deep and dark honey amber with a yellowish, somewhat creamy head that fades pretty quickly to a coating. Aroma is caramel malt, grass, some florals. Taste is more caramel malt and strong vanilla with a touch of honey. Creamy and carbonated on the palate and earthy sweet overall. Very drinkable and not what I expected. Above average.

This beer is very creamy and very refreshing. It is an excellent beer in the summer or any hot day. It has a relatively sweet taste, but is fairly light and not overwhelming. I always recommend it to friends and family that do not have too complex a knowledge or taste for beer. I have found it to be a favorite of beginning craft beer drinkers and veterans alike.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours copper with off white head. Taste citrus, Carmel, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
