COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

12oz. bottle pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of caramel, dough and spices. Tastes sort of like cream soda and baked beans mixed. Mouthfeel is light but creamy and silky with good carbonation. Strange beer overall definetily unique and different but not in a very good way in my opinion. Tastes odd but refreshing after a warm summer day.

Pours a copper colour without much head and no lacing. The overpowering flavour is vanilla then citrus, almost like a ceamsicle. There is also caramel and light spices. Very creamy but not too sweet. Nice

From Notes a clear amber-gold thin white head lasts for quite awhile. Taste is some bread and a touch of caramel, with some fruit as well.

12oz can. Poured a slight ruby amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma was notes of sweet malts, sweet, almost nutty notes. Flavor was wheat notes, sweet malts. Toasted notes. Slight metallic notes.

Poured from a can into a tumbler on 05.14.14. A: See through red/orange. 2 finger head with an aggressive pour. S: Strong toffee. Also has peanut brittle, coconut. T: Peanut brittle, toffee are dominant. Coconut is subtle. M: Creamy. Perfect carbonation. O: This was my first cream ale and I have yet to find one that rivals it. It was complex with great flavors from front to back. It was a great dessert.

Not great. Aroma is sort of confusing with notes of malt with hints of banana and spice. It just not a complimentary medley of aromas. Taste is strangely fruit, veggie, spice (not really sure) but then it’s punctuated by a heavy brand flake cereal taste that’s okay. Finish is light with a lingering brand flake flavor that sort of odd...

this is absolutely NOT High Rollers Wheat (was sent here to rate High Rollers). Not even close... "a simple, but tasty summer brew. the summer and winter seasonals are the least complex and easiest to make brews that AV makes, but they are both nice. hardly any hops, light bodied, smooth as hell with a creamy creamy finish and aroma."

Malty spicy aroma. Darker and maltier than I would expect for a summer beer. Maybe slight peppery? Good amount of body and flavor. Bit of an odd aftertaste. Almost a slight soapy ness to the aftertaste. Good beer and would drink for a summer beer with more body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Sugaya. Moderate caramel nose, with roast malt, candy, spice, cinnamon, and vanilla. Hazy copper/amber color, thin head, some lace, and fat lazy bubbles. Cirtrus and vanilla, cough drops, coconut, and light medium-dry finish. Thin-medium body. Gentle. fruity, and mildy spicy. Very fizzy in mid palate.

Creamy for sure. No really aroma other than some malt/grain. Smooth and almost notes of vanilla.

Poured from a12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Strong malt scent with little else backing it up. Appearance- A nice copper color with a small white head. Taste- Strong malt flavor, totally expected a different taste, not bad just didn’t expect it. Palate- Medium bodied creamy feel, OK to me Overall- nice color, ok aroma and taste. I have had better from Anderson Valley
