3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz. bottle pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells of caramel, dough and spices. Tastes sort of like cream soda and baked beans mixed. Mouthfeel is light but creamy and silky with good carbonation. Strange beer overall definetily unique and different but not in a very good way in my opinion. Tastes odd but refreshing after a warm summer day.

Very interesting creamy tart flavors, marshmallow. gentle sweet finish. Kind of an amber/wheat hybrid, quite original and captivating taste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a thin head that dissipates quickly to thin lacing. Aromas of sweet caramel malt and subtle floral hops. Flavors are butterscotch and citrus notes with a bit of cut grass in the finish. Fairly dry finish. Light mouthfeel; a tad syrupy. Overall, pretty nice. Not what I expected for a summer ale, but enjoyable.

Drank straight from the bottle. No glass available. Sweet aroma. Can really taste the caramel. Rather bland otherwise. Not a favorite Anderson Valley beer.

12oz can, served in a pint glass. Decent summer ale - not that much spice as advertised.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz can. Pours a deep copper with a thick frothy head. Dissipates quickly leaving no lacing. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, and sweet malts. Very creamy texture. Pretty smooth. A little boring on the palate. Taste of wood, caramel, toffee, and vanilla. All low key and blending into one taste. Just blah

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours tea color with a Caramalt aroma and low hop profile. Head does not persist. The palate is huge caramel malt forward and very sweet. I thought this was a beer in the cream ale style, but not this one. Tastes like a caramel flavored herbal cough drop. Overall, this beers leaves me wanting something else. Canít believe itís priced at $11 a six-pack!

Poured with a foamy tan head that settled right away and no lace. Aroma is malt Caramell and a hint metallic. Flavor is like aroma. Body is a bit on the Flat side. Overall this beer is kind of average.
