COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Solstice Seasonal Ale is not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

Poured from a can. Reddish copper color with substantial head. Fruity aroma. Creamy texture. Weird flavor, almost like cherries. Not what I expected from a summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. can from BevMo. Hazy copper with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of caramel malt and subtle floral hops. Flavors are light butterscotch and citrus with a bit of cut grass in the finish. Fairly dry. Well carbonated. Light mouthfeel; a bit syrupy. Overall, subtle, well balanced flavors, very easy drinking.

Can into pint glass, cloudy golden-hued coppery-amber color with minimal creamy off-white head. Aroma notes of near-toffee caramel malt sweetness, melon fruits, vanilla and cinnamon spices. Taste adds nuttiness, citrus rind, honey, grain and coconut. Medium-light body, low-moderate carbonation, creamy with spicy fruity finish. Very creamsicle/cream soda like which is probably their goal, interesting.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass, rich copper color with a thin creamy head that dissipates quickly to a thin lacing. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, and sweet malts. Flavor is fruity, cereal grains, honey and spicy.Very creamy texture, would recommend to my friends and easy beer to drink.

Draught at the Anderson Valley Taproom, Boonville, CA. Clear copper colour with a small white head. Sweet toffee and nougat, caramel malt and fruity notes in the aroma. Hoppy dryness, caramel sweetness, nougat and mild bitterness in the flavour. Sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can served in a lager glass. Surprising dark body for style with a very good head and decent lacing. As claimed, the flavor is "malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice". Plenty of caramel malts and very faint spicing that becomes a bit more obvious in the aftertaste.

Old rating. Over spiced for a summer beer i thought. Big malts, lots of cinnamon and spice. Some vanilla and citrus, less drinkable than I'd want.
