The refreshing tartness in this divine, bright golden-colored ale gives way to earthy undertones and hints of citrus followed by a slight sea salt-like dryness and tangy, effervescent finish.

Can. Great tart fruit smell. Pours a beautiful golden straw color with small white foamy head. Tastes of lemon, some starfruit, and crisp tartness. Finishes with a little salty flavor. Creamy and semi - dry on the palate. Excellent representative of a gose.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, lightly sourish and dryish aroma, light citrus. Body is light to medium, lightly sourish and dryish flavor, light citrus. Finish is short to average, lightly sourish and dry, light citrus and saltiness. Bit thin. Interesting curiosity - not really for me.

From a can into pint glass. Pours perfectly clear with a light peach/yellow tint an a good frothy head. Nose is pepper, lemon, slight caramel. Body is very light with medium carbonation, funk hits right away and lasts, slightly dry finish. Grapefruit, white grape, bread flavors. Tingles in the mouth acidic funky finish, very refreshing. Interesting beer, I like what going on, but could be more nuanced and complex.

Missed this the first time it came through, but not on its second go-round, a fresh can. Nose sickly and grainy, a little stale, but tart with lemon drop character behind the must. Pours very pale yellow with lots of carbonation and a tight, rocky bright white head. Taste is strongly sour, right around the edge of puckering, with a full body and feel, dry without real saltiness, some harsh grain that quickly fades to excellent but brief bread. This is paler and too full for the authenticity stamp of approval, but it’s super quenching and does well in capturing the spirit. Might be a gateway mild sour for a few people.

On tap @ Alchemy - Aroma - grassy/lemony aroma with just a bit of brine getting whiffed. Appearance - is a yellow hue, slightly hazy with a bubbly white cap. Taste - vinegary like acidicness to it, light funk and lemony sourness throughout. Palate - thin, medium carbonation and a lively mouthfeel. Overall - seems a bit one dimensional but over all it’s still tasty and easy to drink. Fills the need for a funky, sour beer when you need one.
