The refreshing tartness in this divine, bright golden-colored ale gives way to earthy undertones and hints of citrus followed by a slight sea salt-like dryness and tangy, effervescent finish.

12oz can from Downer Wine and Spirits. Pours a clear bright yellow color with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, lemon, bread. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is tart, lemon, cereal, some bread, a little hay, with a tart, yeasty finish. Refreshing.

Draft at Saraveza. Beige and hazy. It smells nutty wheaty good and salty sweet. The lively thirst quenching body enlivens and nourishes. It is hydrating and perfect, everything i look for in a gose. The underlying sweetness balances the salty fresh malt nom nom. Damn this is an impressive brew I could drink a lot of. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 oz can. Aroma is moderately grainy with a medium light citrus character and light acidity. Some light fruit notes. Pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow gold with a big, frothy, white head that recedes fairly to the edges where a few bubbles linger. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a faint sweetness with moderate acidity. Quite a bit of citrus character, mostly lemon but some tart orange as well. Medium light saltiness with light grain notes. Low bitterness. Light stone fruit esters. A bit of a woodsy, herbal character. Mouthfeel is medium light with a dry, crisp finish and moderate carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty easy drinking, nice, crisp summer beer. I have yet to try the Westbrook gose, but this one is pretty nice. There is something a bit flabby in the finish though.

Can from CBB. Bright, cloudy golden color. Gushed at first, then went to lace. Lemony nose with wheat, some lactic notes and coriander. Nice tangy citrus flavor, wheat, a touch of yogurt, mildly salty and spicy. Refreshing and fun, with a decent level of tartness. Seems to lack the depth I’ve found in better Gose.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Pours hazy golden with big white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is tart, medium body, medium carbonation which turns to low carbonation quickly. Taste is salty, malty, tart, some citrus, and long tart finish. This and Westbrook Gose are my favorites so far.

Draft at Trinity Brass Tap. Pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a foamy white head. Crisp, clean aroma with some tart notes. Similar flavor with a dry mouthfeel. Great beer for Summer.

Can. Aroma of funky wheat and pale malts. Sour taste, herbal, salt water. Pretty good.

Cloudy yellow pour with a fluffy white head. Aromas of tart lime, biscuit, sea water. Taste is more sour than I was expecting for a Gose but still quite refreshing.

Strong funky malt aromas as well as toffee, overly ripe peach, smoke, tangerine, dark grains and off biscuit notes. Bright golden appearance with a firm white foam top. Sweet, tangy biscuit malt overtones. More complex flavors of juicy white grape, citrus, sweet white wine, tart white vinegar, some pronounced salt characteristics and a strong cracker malt backbone. Overall, very nice brew from AV. Great balance and funky flavors.
