COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Complexity. Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. Our exclusive partnership with Wild Turkey gives Anderson Valley a world class, consistent source of barrelage, allowing our brewers to explore new frontiers in barrel-aged craft beer.

Opaque black - brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is airy and a little dry. Fine minerally carbonation. Mild dark malts with a light tang. Nice mellow oaky vanilla and mild tangy bourbon. Finishes smooth and dry.l Nice flavours but even at 6.9% feels a bit thin for BBA stout.

Draught at Pumphouse, Richmond, BC, simply as Bourbon Barrel Stout
Dark brown color with small head. Mild aroma of bourbon. Dry and lean body; mild flavor of roasted malt and chocolate, not aggressive, not ashy, with good vanilla bourbon barrel contribution; the bitterness is relatively low; there is an impression of liquorice.
Nice.
