On tap. Half finger head with nice lacing. Smells amazingly like butterscotch! Holy cow. Spot on butterscotch. Thick body, light licorice, buttery, little bourbon, and creamy.

On tap at Brews Brothers. Mild aroma of chocolate and boubon. Nice dark color. Has a slightly carbonated taste similar to Coke. Can tell it is wild turkey. Really has that alcohol taste. All right beer. Prefer some of the barrel aged beers in the great lakes region more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours and off very very deep opaquer brown with creamy tan head that held well. Thin collar. Aroma is some dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel sweetness. Taste is much the same with no noticeable bourbon or oak presence until the very end. Creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation and a body just on the thin side of thick.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black as night colour with a brownish head that laces proper. Expressive aroma that seems to evolve as the bottle opens up: espresso & chocolate, woodsy, vanillin, oak and more chocolate. The palate is equally well layered between sweet chocolate, spice and roast bitterness. It sports a finish that both smooth and lingering. The only knock on it is its medium body but remains a very impressive brew nonetheless!!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint on tap. Predictably dark, opaque beer, with a small head. Strong whisky aroma. The taste is sweet on the nose, whisky-ish in the middle, and a little sour at the end with warmth/sweetness in the aftertaste. Dark cherries and chocolate are there, really pretty nice. Great palate, nice heavy complex beer.
