Complexity. Aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon barrels, this luxurious stout has a deep ebony hue and a beautiful mahogany head. The woody, vanilla-like notes imparted by the barrels mingle with aromas of fresh baked bread, toffee, and espresso and envelop the rich chocolate and roasted barley flavors with a fine bourbon character. Our exclusive partnership with Wild Turkey gives Anderson Valley a world class, consistent source of barrelage, allowing our brewers to explore new frontiers in barrel-aged craft beer.

Amazing. Simply put, creamy, roasted, toasty caramel grainy, big full mouthfeel, bourbon in the aroma, and end flavor. Get you some!

Beautiful deep black pour, completely opaque even when held to light. Thick head with persistent lacing. Subtle vanilla notes over the malty goodness of this EXCELLENT stout.

Found this on tap at the Yard House in Chino Hills. Barney Flats aged in a bourbon barrel! I’ve tried many stouts that have been aged in bourbon barrels some are good and some are so over powered by bourbon and oak that they taste like soy sauce. The good news is Anderson Valley nailed this one. If you Enjoyed the Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout like I did this is gonna rock your world. The Appearance is Black l and it had a 1" head that stuck around for little while leaving a nice little lacing on the glass. The aroma is intoxicating in itself, bourbon ,oak, cocoa, and coffee up front and sharing the stage nothing really overpowering the other. The mouth feel is smooth and creamy as expected from an oatmeal stout. It taste like it smells except the malts and hops come forward and add tho the blend. The mild after taste is just like it smells mild bourbon and oak burn with chocolate. My new Favorite. Now if I can just find it in Bottles around here.

Dark, dark brown, only noticeable when back lit. Rich, earthy, sweet aroma. Amazing complex flavors. Rich bourbon taste. Sweet chocolatey notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Mild and smooth finish, with light hop notes.

Barwa: ciemna, praktycznie nieprzejrzysta. Piana kremowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, początkowo obfita, ale szybko opadająca. Wysycenie średnie. Aromat: burbon do potęgi! Polecam do kwadratu!!!
