3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Serving: Draft at Fire Works Leesburg. It pours a dark brown color with a thick tan head. The nose is potent and all Wild Turkey. The flavor reminds me of a Wild Turkey and Vanilla Coke with a bit of oak. Full bodied with a good bit of carbonation to lighten things up. A little chocolate emerges as the brew warms. Certainly enjoyable if you are a Wild Turkey fan, but if not, you will probably hate this one.

Poured black with aromas of bourbon and coffee. Taste follows nose but with a subtle sweetness. Flavor of bourbon and coffee really comes through but not overpowering. Reminds me of a mellowed out version of bourbon county stout. Really good barrel aged stout. Will drink again.

This is definitely a unique stout. Aromas of chocolate and sweet cream. Sweet flavors come through first, milk chocolate, caramelized sugar, and toffee. Then breads, roasted nuts, raisins, brown sugar and whiskey. Vanilla aftertaste. Smooth, though lighter bodied than I’d like.

Aroma Is alcohol, bourbon. Beautiful looking beer. Taste is mostly Smokey bourbon. Also some barley, coffee, pecans, . Maybe too much whiskey flavor.....not enough stout. Good beer nevertheless.

Tap. Dark pour with thick tan head. Smells of chocolate, dark malts and slight bourbon. Taste is a little light on the bourbon. Also seems a little thin for a stout

Poured a very dark brown, almost black, but not quite...with a moderate cardboard head. Aroma is seductive - bourbon, malts, coffee. The taste is likewise full and complex - roasted barley, coffee, just the right hint of bourbon, and a surprisingly refreshing, cola-esque finish. This is very, very good.

Dark cola pour with tan head. Nose is light coconut and oak barrel with gentle bourbon and roasted malt. Flavor is bitter chocolate and roast malt with subtle oak and coconut. Average mothfeel. Easy drinking barrel beer.

Light mouthfeel, big taste.
Coffee, chocolate, and quite sweet and spicy.
Like Dutch peperkoek.
I thought their oatmeal stout was just a little more complex, but a very good one from America again

On tap at YardHouse Meridian, ID. Nearly black with a slight wispy light tan head. Sweet light roasted malt aroma. Smokey roast flavor with subtle whiskey flavored I think that is what makes it so good. The barrel acing is not overdone smooth not too heavy feel. Very nice
