22 oz. bottle. Nice ruby brown colored brew. Spicy, fruity aroma. Sweet, malty flavor with the spices coming through as well. Pretty good winter seasonal, as I can see myself getting a few more bottles of this one.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours deep red with a small off-white head. Aroma of strong spices--cinnamon, cloves, and some others--backed by sweet malts and light piney hops. Strange spiciness in the flavor--and not much else. Not my cup of beer.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a reddish amber color with a white short lived head. Has a nutty spicy cinnamon aroma. Flavor is tangy and spicy with a smooth finish that hides the alcohol very well. A nice winter brew.

Bomber. Pours a medium/dark amber color. Lightly spicy aroma. A little bit of hoppiness is also noticable. Very creamy mouthfeel. Spicy at fiirst. Some nutmeg, cinnamon, and maybe some clove. A tiny bitter twang is underlying. Good winter beer.

This beer’s flavor is so unique that it requires you to stretch in order to describe it. Beyond the obvious vanilla, I get a flavor that isn’t exactly like any of these things, but more reminds me of them: Cloves, cinnamon, licorice, pipe tobacco. There’s a million more in there that I’m not going to make the effoprt to place. Occasionally I get a huge connection to Smarties candies. Not much in the way of hops or malt. Just a huge range of other stuff. Unbelievably smooth palate.

Dark amber color with white head. Aroma is sweet and smooth. Flavor is beautiful and rich. Sweet, slightly smokey, candy. Kinda twisted.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:Beautiful amber color with a small, bubbly light brown head. The aromas are hops, spices and shoe leather. The taste represented to me an almost perfect balance of the right amount of hops and malts, if you are going for a balance. I also picked up hints of cola which may have been another type of spice or root. When they say in the commercial description "smooth finish" they aren’t lying. Smooth all the way around, noticeably smooth. I thought this was great. A nice break from many of the stronger winter beers.

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy red pour with a thin and filmy white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy, yet surprisingly light. The only things I could get out of it were hints of orange, nutmeg and some cinnamon. The taste is a mix of sweet and nutty. Begins with a slightly sweet and spicy taste, possibly of cloves, cinnamon and some of the orange I thought I smelled in the aroma. It then goes to a smooth and nutty middle with a nutty and sweet finish and a slight aftertaste of cinnamon. Really smooth and creamy.

Not the best of the winter/holiday seasonals. I’d rather have a celebration to be honest. Not enough hops or warmth to make a worthy contender.

On draft at RFD, Washington, D.C. Copper pour with a thin head. Spice and malty notes. Frouty aroma as well. Some nutmeg and caramel. Heavy taste. Some hops, caramel is definitely present. Some spices as well, such as nutmeg and cinnamon? Interesting beer, to say the least.
