Draft on tap at Hamburger Mary’s (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice glowing amber hue, touches of haze, a darker beer with a small whitish head that laces small as it rings tiny. Aromas are touches of fruity esters, orange and touches of coriander, bread dough and flaked wheat. Just a touch of cinnamon on the back of the nose with a touch of cidery fruit. Initial is lighter bodied offering spicy cinnamon and pie spice, fruity apple cider, orange peel and mellow coriander. Leaves a lingering spice and touches of tart apples and orange rind. Finish is more apple than wit, spicy cinnamon lingers on. Not bad, doesn’t blow it’s load on coriander dominance. It’s a little sweet, and more of a novelty. It hit it’s mark for what it wanted to do head on though. Not sure I could drink more than one (and only infact drank a half of one as it is). Still, an interesting beer.
