Gut! 10/11/12/12//12

1 L growler, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is grassy and slight chemical/yeasty. Fruity, grassy and hayish. Bitter and slight grassy finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of herbs, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of herbs, spices, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

My Bottom Line :
Herbal, citrusy hops swim in this unfiltered Pilsener’s plush mouthfeel, as doughy yeast and cereals soften the finish.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A slice of foam sticks to the mug atop the bright and cloudy yellow..
-This is not unlike Feierling’s Insel Hopf, or Lindenbräu’s own Pils. Lots of shared similarities with many Czech brewpubs too in its yeasty, bready notes balanced by shiny noble hoppiness.
-Herbal hop bitterness is levelled with the cushiony sugars.
-This is obviously very drinkable even if it is sweeter than classic German Pilseners.
-All flavors are perfectly aligned and cohesive.

On tap at the brewpub. Thx Alex!

courtesy of fiulijn - pours a hazy blond beer with a modest head left; a charming grassy aromatic hoppy aroma; medium- to full-bodied, tart and herbal palate, a moderate bitterness and a long aftertaste of herbs; slightly salty - accurate and satisfying

2011-10-06, draught at the brauhaus, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Cloudy blond color, with a compact head. Mild aroma of nice hops. Dry mouthfeel, good malt flavor, with some crispness, and good hopping, in strength and also with some aromatic quality, grassy; light sweetness appearing later, blending well within the character of the beer, for a very good balance. Long final. Very good.

2011-03-29, draught at the bräuhaus, 7-4-8-5-16=40
Muddy deep blond color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, rough, hoppy, grassy. Good malt flavor, with a clear crispy character; the mouthfeel is not too dry, quite smooth for a Pils indeed. There is a good noble hopping, of high quality, grassy.
This beer is delicious tonight.

2010-07-22, draught at the bräuhaus, 7-3-7-4-14=35
Cloudy blond color; creamy head; sticky lace. Aroma of crispy malt and hop, mild but nice. There is a reasonably good crispy malt flavor, well complemented by an equaly good aromatic hop; there is also a grass and cereals touch. The bitterness is bold, and so the final; actually, maybe the bitterness is a bit too much at the very end. Somehow not very elegant, but surely pleasant.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy deep golden coloured. Grainy and hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavour on a malty background. Soft mouthfeel. Grassy finish. Nice.
