12 oz bottle - poured a cloudy apricot hue. Very intriguing and appealing creamy, vaguely earthy aroma. Flavour is delicious - nicely hoppy, but well-integrated with a good malt body. Nice medium bitter finish. I could see this being my go-to beer if it was locally available.

Amber-golden colour. Complex caramel, mineral notes in the aroma. Rich, complex taste. Lots of minerals, earth, caramel and light fruitness. Another beer from an underrated brewer.

Draught @ Great Lost Bear. Copper color, clear, no head. Nutty and mild aroma. Great peppery hop character and slight lemon kiss. Excellent rendition of English style pale ale. Slick mouthfeel, quaffable. Solid quality.

Draft. Medium color and body. Decent hop aroma and flavor, particularly on the finish. Earth and herb accompany a grapefruit finish. Malts are simple and honest, if a bit sweet. Not a bad little English pale.

En fût. Pinte dégustée chez Bray’s (Naples, ME). (Rating #1707)
