Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, peat - smoke. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 120908

On tap @ EBF 2008. Almost black body with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, some caramel, liquorices and tar. Flavor is roasted malt, bitter coffee, dry fruit and tar. Complex and quite heavy.

(On tap) Hazy dark brown with an orange hue. Malty and vinous with a sourish touch. Medium body with old woody accents and hard roasted malt and overripe fruit. Subdued bitterness - in spite of the name. On the verge of turning bad I think. 120908

EBF2008. It’s red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has sourness, notes of fruit and roasted malt. The flavour has a crisp bitterness, notes of roasted malt, a light sourness, fruit and chocolate. It’s a bit strange flavour-wise, but also interesting.

Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a dark brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is spiced with some wierd sweetness. Could be raisin or figs. The flavor is sweetness with a hint of acidity. Could be some tartness. The mouthfeel has some acidity. Overall a strange experience.

Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, figs and raisins. Flavour is sweet dried fruits, with a hint of tartness. Unpleasant oxidation and hop bitterness.

Draught at EBF08. Fruity aroma. Roasted and sour grainy flavour. Grainy aftertaste. Too grainy.
