COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a malty amber ale. It is medium gravity with a malty middle, beautiful color and sparkling clear. Angel City Ale utilizes Yakima Golding hops in three kettle additions to give it a subdued yet complex bittering which provides a thirst quenching dry finish.

Pretty decent beer, would like it a little more if it had a bigger finish, it just drops right off of the palate. Otherwise pretty well balanced, a rich toasted caramel maltiness, some light toffee notes as well. Pretty sessionable, I would drink this again.

12oz bottle from BevMo! One of the better Angel City beers. An aroma of malt and caramel on an amber body with a head that dissipates quickly. Toasted malt and some amount of bitterness.

Pours very bright copper with a small off-white head. Slight citrussy aroma, at first it seems like a bit of a Uk-American hop mix, but eventually I got some interesting floral notes. There is a bit of light chocolate and toffee, dried apricots and the likes. Medium body, well balanced and very smooth. Balanced, simple caramel malt, flowery hop flavours and a bit of saltiness. Clean slightly sweet finish. Not bad.

I found this beer to be nothing special and if anything down right bad. My reason for buying was to support a local brew. I like amber style beers but i think that it was a little to bitter for this gal’s taste.

wasn’t a big fan of this ale. had it on tap at a local restaurant and was expecting much more than i got. reddish tan color with a little white head that disappeared quickly. the flavor was quite bland. malty but not that savory. aroma was quite bland, too.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy, dissipating off white head an gold/amber color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, secondary earthy/spicy hops. Taste is sweet medium malt, slight peat, secondary earthy/spicy hops. OK carbonation.

Very clear amber light but thats a descriptor for an amber, its not a red! Malty balance with nice hop additions. Would drink another

This beer does not have much to offer. Light appearance, faint aroma, and lackluster in the flavor dept. Its a shame the Los Angeles area does not have more breweries that can provide superior brews.
