Big, bold, grapefruit hop flavors and aroma best characterize this medium-bodied, copper-hued beer. Angel City IPA is hopped with Citra, Nelson, and Simcoe to make the perfect treat for hop heads.

Bright orange body white cap of foam. Aroma of resin, wild onion, grapefruit, tropical. Taste toffee, sweet bread malt, then resinous tropical, onion with grapefruit rind finish that lingers. Light to medium body well carbonated. Quaffable yet bold IPA with good hop character.

Pours a clear gold. A citrus hop and sweet malt aroma. A medium to heavy body beer with citrus and floral hops, caramel, and malts. A light bitter hop and sweet malt aftertaste.

Tap at the Marriott in Woodland Hills, CA. Clear light orange pour, white head. Pine resin and mango. Nice bitter bite with a somewhat clean finish - a little linger. Decent.

Very middle of the road IPA, more like a pale to me, but very drinkable. Color of tinted honey, light khaki head, residual. Aroma is floral, resin, some hibiscus. Tasted exactly as I thought it would. Balanced, blah, pine, blah blah, decent dark grain profile keeps it comfortably above water.

So much better than The Pilsner (from this brewery) I had before this on 27th May 2016 in the Californian sun while on holiday. Good light amber pour with a decent lasting head. Hoppy, oily smooth with a caramel maltiness for a base to help counter the hop bitterness. Very drinkable and ’moreish’.

Kind of a regular IPA. Fairly well balanced, sweet, hops, middle level of alcohol. A good out of the bottle IPA.

Pours hazy deep golden, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, some pine, hints of mango. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. A bit old school, but solid.

From a bottle into a Chimay glass. Pours gold with head and significant lace. Aroma of straw hops, grains, slight bitter herbs. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of hay, grains, straw hops, white grapefruit rind, bitter herbs, black pepper. Overall with the roughness I’m suprised I’ve looked forward to every bottle of this since I got a 6-back, even having it before or after Stone, Green Flash, Lagunitas and other IPAs. It’s rough but I like it!!

(En fût à la source): Belle corpulence maltée miellée et collante qui supporte aisément l’avalache d’agrumes, de thé et d’ananas.
