Big, bold, grapefruit hop flavors and aroma best characterize this medium-bodied, copper-hued beer. Angel City IPA is hopped with Citra, Nelson, and Simcoe to make the perfect treat for hop heads.

(En fût à la source): Belle corpulence maltée miellée et collante qui supporte aisément l’avalache d’agrumes, de thé et d’ananas.

Keg at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy head. The aroma holds light bready pale malts, hints of pine, melon, citrus. Medium sweet flavour with a steady pale malt base, more melon, grapefruit, tangerine, light bitter pine and rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with a dash of resin, more pine, citrus, pale bread. Nice and drinkable IPA.

Draft and live-rate at the Beverly Wilshire hotel bar. $10 for probably a 14 ounce pour. Thanks, work! Pours clear gold with a white head. Mild spicy and light citric hops, mild moderate bitterness, and some toffee sweet malts. Fine.

Draught in SF. Golden amber and clear with moderate white head that patterns down. Pine and cat litter marry for a solid aroma. Taste is slightly cloying and dank. Fairly tasty.

On tap at triple 8 China bar downtown LA. Pours light golden with small head, aroma a bit weak like bud light or something. Drinks mild and finish stronger hop and citrus. Not bad new brand for me.

Bottle from Big Ben: Poured a medium golden blonde liquid and was topped with a minimal formation of foam head. Aroma was mild and smelled sweet and also had notes of citrus fruit. Flavor is mildly bitter and taste of orange and lemon peels that finishes with a bitter tasteless finish.

Draft - Nice bright citrus. Clear gold with a nice white head. Nice grapefruit citrus notes and lid of caramel sweetness. Maybe a bit too sweet.

Bottle at engine co no 28 in LAX terminal 8. Aroma nothing special; amberish. Flavor much better. Well balanced and fruity. Nice lace. Crystal clear body which is a little odd for an IPA. Solid. Probably better than the best draft alternative: goose island IPA.
