Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Pours well, mit chunky top. Starts well with a rich, dry bouquet, then settles back on its laurels somewhat, with a sweet finish. A middling, but drinkable Pils.

On tap @home. Light golden colour with a creamy and steady head and medium body. Nose of light malt. Taste of old hops, malt, barley, grass and lemon peel. Bitter finish. Very easy to drink, perfect for watching football, but just no treasure at all.

500ml bottle. Spiralling gold with a fine white head. Cooked corn, beeswax, mild grassy aroma. Washy, weak grassy notes; some floured rubber, almond: a bit strong European lager. Love my German lagers but this is a poor one and a disappointing way to kick off the midweekend.

A 5L alu box @Kaufland, a clear yellow beer with huge head. Nose is nutty and dry like, aroma is lightly grainy, paper notes, light body, peppery hops, very basic.

Bottled 500ml. -Yellow coloured, small white head, dry nose with notes of honey. Malty, light grainy and cardboard with notes of honey. Dry bitterish finish. Boring and (below) average pils.

Good thing this is on RB, the back label fell from ogivlado’s bottle fell of and we would’ve been screwed for info. Aaanyway, this poured a shiny yellow body with a small white head. Smooth (why am I using this word so much?) soapy honey in the nose, bit herbal. The taste is a honey assault, bit papery and stale. Dry, with a very light bitterness/acidity near the end. This isn’t that bad, but it’s sligthly too heavy for the strength - heck, I even felt alcohol for a second, lacking drinkability, and definitely not a proper pils.

Bottle. Pale blonde. Soft grassy flavor. Just hints of malt. Distant grassaroma. Average pilsener.
