Quack-Duck (5920) - Down South, - MAY 18, 2010
bottle from my local Norma. Clear golden yellow colour, large white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, solid malty background. Slightly hoppy with an overall fruity character and hints of apples. I expected some cheap swill, but this seems rather nice, can’t detect any serious faults.

Bottle 50cl from Quack-duck. A clear yellow beer with medium head. Smell is on lager with nuts notes. A quite sweet beer with hopy presence, not too malty, grassy notes as well.

Bottle (thanx to Stefan!): Clear, pale golden to golden; small persistent white foam; grainy and hoppy nose; light to medium bodied, scratchy MF, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; dry grassy-bitter finish. Pretty nasty stuff......

Sweet and minimal bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Strawy and slightly doughy malty taste with shy grainy spots; sweet malty finish with a restrained hoppy bitterness. Clean but also a bit bland. 03.VII.10
