1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Drank about 10 cans of it here and there around Cambodia, weak pale lager reminiscent of sour apple juice and recycled paper. Rice is there with some hops and a trace of coriander. Hey, it’ll get ya drunk.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A golden fizzy lager, with adjunct rice aroma, light sulfur. In mouth, a dry beer, with notes of cardboard, some light crisp german hops, rather short in mouth. 320 ml can at Phnom Penh Noodle House, Ottawa, 4.50$.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can. A light golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of cardboard, straw, and brewing cereal, and so is the flavor, with a bitter end. And the body is thin. Thanks Theis.

Hmmmmm. I better take a Tiger Beer next time. I think the Angkor t-shirt tastes of more.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle and can tasted. This is slightly better than some other lagers that you can get in Cambodia but still it doesn’t tastes much. Some citrus and a little bitterness from the hops? Good to drink on the beach but there are better beers.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, 60cl. Pale gold in appearance, with a wispy poor white head that fades fast - standard poor pale lager looks. The aroma was very faint, though slightly citrusy hops were present (in the poorer draft version, the smell was sour and unpleasant - like the beer...). The flavour was highly uninteresting. A brief hit of watery hops descended into an oily, sour bitterness that lasts way too long. The palate was oily and unpleasant. The bottle had high carbonation whereas the draft was almost flat, though I expect this was due to poor storage/maintenance rather than the beer itself. An average asian beer that for some reason has the monopoly in Cambodia. Beer Lao is slightly superior if your in Cambodia...
