This beer is specially brewed by Anglo Dutch for Clark's Organic Group of Wakefield (beersinabox.com). Gold colour. Subtle aroma with fruity pear drops and grape notes. Quite mellow and subdued. A surprising amount of dry biscuity malt in the flavour, with a faint hoppy tang in the background. Very smooth, slightly thin mouthfeel. Soft, dry finish. A pleasant, lager-ish (maybe the Dutch influence?), easy drinking beer, but could use a little more backbone. 500ml bottle (not bottle conditioned).
