Cask, gravity, at The Pig’s Summer Beer Festival ’10, at the Pig and Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Dark brown with a small white head. Sweet aroma with a hint of potato (but that’s not quite it). Sweet taste with curious background notes of black pudding and indistinct fruitiness. Mid bitter finish. Unusual beer, apparently themed on a TV character, though not altogether to my taste.
