Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular. Also available bottle conditioned.
Very pale, Belgian style tripel beer with a hint of coriander. As the brewer, Paul, has two beers named after his kids, Mike, the other partner in the brewery, wanted a beer named after his cat.

With a name like that, I just had to give it a try. Naked, light golden body. The aroma is a kind mix between fruits and tobacco. Some malt and pineapples in the taste giving the beer a touch of marmalade. Moderate bittersweet ending. Hidden alcohol. In spite of the alcohol strength, it feels a bit diluted in the mouth (half pint, shared with Geir at The Great British Beer Festival 08.08.2008).

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, apple, honey, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask @ Ealing BF 06: Golden clear in colour. Short white head. Mild spice in the nose. Quite dry in flavour. A bit estery and peppery but balanced. Interesting english take on a tripel.

Cask Conditioned at Ealing Beer on Broadway Festival, 2006. Clear pale gold. Floral hop aroma. Sweet malts balanced by some hops a touch of spice and noticeable alcohol. This is quite nice but I don’t think it’s really to style.
