Draught at SBWF 2010 (Snickeriet - Ängö). It poured a pitch black liquid with a light brown head. Flavour of chocolate, coffee, dark chocolate and dark bread. Light body and relatively mild flavour. But nice beer to enjoy by the pint.

The scent is sharp in tone, and I find it similar to a sour sock containing roasted malt and some chocolate. Truly a strange and unpleasant smell. The taste is diluted and it is burnt and astringent in the finish. Sorry Ängö! But there’s no way I can connect this horrible brew with a Porter.

Dark brown with a medium tan head. Malty with fruity tones. Malt, licorice and smoke. Medium body with a nice balanced finish.

Draught @ Nya Trols, Karlskrona Plan 1, 214 36 Malmo, Sweden.
Clear dark brown color with a small to small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocollate, chocolate malt, light coffee, light notes of whisky marinated raisin. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, dry, dark malt, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101114]

Draft. A black beer with a red shine under a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of tobacco, roasted malt, alcohol, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, spices, and roasted malt as well as lighter notes of soy sauce and staranise, leading to a very dry finish due to a low level of residual sugar.

Draft @ Nya Tröls, Malmö. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty slightly bittert chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Black coloured with a small off-white head.
Sweet and light roasted aroma of caramel, dried fruits, butterscotsch, marzipan and nuts.
Roasted flavour of caramel and nuts with notes of dried fruits.
Dry roasted finish.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2010. Opaque dark brown color. Leathery roasty aroma with some caramel and some fruity marmelade. Smooth roasty flavor with chocolate, licorice and coffee, some green apple also. Smooth easygoing porter.

SBWF 2010. Black color, small head. Chocolate aroma, cocoa and some spices. Chocolate flavor, hoppy and milky, spicy notes.

Draught@SBWF2010. Quite close to black colour with a tiny head. Aroma is caramel malts, liquorice, some ashes, mild toffee as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is ashes, toffee, some caramel and mild liquorice. Mild chocolaty notes as well once it warms up a bit.
