Draft at taphouse: Pours dark brown with a thick, creamy tan head. Nice thick lacing. Aroma is heavy in roast, some burnt maltiness. Tastes a little smokey with a lot of roasted malt and some coffee. Nice that the smoke was more subtle than the entire focus. A very drinkable smoked porter.

Draft at brewpub under the name Dark Robust Porter. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee malt and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Sold drinkable brew.
