Sampled on draught at the brewpub in downtown Billings, Montana. Pours a clear caramel amber brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet multi-grain bread doughy malt, flouwery hops with some toffee, and a touch of pineapple. Taste is medium to fully bodied, light carbonation with a thick bready malt flavor. Finish is soft, very light bitterness with a bread-like aftertaste. One of the most flavorable amber ales this side of the Mississippi River.
