Pours hazy copper with minimal head. Aroma of maple syrup and caramel. Complex flavor with caramel, toffee, bourbon and others. Very good!

On draught at the brewpub in Hayward, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy dark copper with a fast dissolving reddish tan head that leaves behind only a fine film top. Aroma of bourbon character with some light maple and caramel scents. Tastes is full bodied, light carbonation with flavors of toffee, citrus, and smoky peat and some nice bourbon flavors. Finish has a hint of smoky yeast with some bourbon aftertaste flavors. This is the first bourbon barrel-aged scotch ales I ever tried and is one outstanding beer at Angry Minnow. Hope to see the available again!
