Pours a clear golden light amber (slightly darker than the other three varieties), with a clean disk and minimal bubble presence. Aroma of light apple cider, a hint of clove, pickled ginger, a a little potpourri. Taste is medium bodied, plenty of sweet apple flavor with some mulling spices, ginger and a hint of earthy herbs. Finish is semi-dry with a short lived ginger and earthy spiced tea aftertaste.

The ginger sharpness cuts the apple sweetness and kind of flattens it. Light but still juicy, not too full, realy sharp.

Crisp light copper coloured body with a hint of an amber glow and absolutely no head at all. Aroma of bright apples, caster sugar, a hint of ginger and pine and a bit of yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong apple flavour of course, with some pear and a very light ginger flavour. Aftertaste shows quite a bit of sweetness, with a hint of tart green apple flavours and a good prolonged apple flavour. Overall, not a bad offering and showing some good flavours along with a sweet finish. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 24-February-2013 for US$1.34 sampled at home in Washington on 04-April-2013.

Light yellow with a little fizziness. Crisp and a little tart with a hint of ginger. Sweet, refreshing, very drinkable.

Taste wise this is my favorite of the bunch as I like the ginger but it is still very sweet. The apple is the dominant profile and the ginger is a secondary player which cuts into the sweetness some but not much.

clear, fizzy, golden, no head. aroma is mostly apple, with some ginger, flavor is dominated by the ginger, with apple in the background. finish is tart, but there is plenty of sweetness as well.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a clear gold with minimal carbonation and no head. Aroma has a perfumey apple note with a bit of ginger underlying. Flavor has mainly sweet apples with a bit of tartness and a good supporting note of ginger.

Bottle. Head is initially very small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is a note of ginger ale (ginger, sugar), light note of apple juice and plastic. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, moderately astringent.
I don’t think I could tell this wasn’t just plain ginger ale in a blind tasting...the apple character is pretty minor. Very artificial and soda-pop-like (or alcopop, if you prefer) in character, a cartoonish rendition of cider. Kind of like comparing Juicy Juice to a Cabernet.

Clear pale and golden. Pretty standard cider smell and flavor, I’m starting to like these. The ginger is present but just a little. Smooth and refreshing, not too sweet.
