This was the very first Angry Orchard flavor I had ever tried and I was thoroughly impressed. It’s absolutely refreshing and perfect for summertime, especially on camping trips in Cook Forest, where I just so happened to be during my first Angry Orchard experience. The bar where my boyfriend and I tried this beer also concocted a variety of mixed drinks with the cider after dark and they were excellent as well.

Sometimes a common cider just hits the spot. Had this at Target Field. Crisp is the operative word.

Drummer tick - thanks, Joe! I can appreciate a good cider, and while this wasn’t defined by the pungency and complex funk of a nice Basque entry, it still had a nice pert tart apple personality with hints of crispness in the finish and a passable blend of sweet and sour.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mild, sweet apple aroma. Flavor is not as crisp as expected - It’s basically a middle of the road cider. Sweet, and without much depth. A decent thirst quencher.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Aroma: (3- notably flawed) Smelled basically like an apple Jolly Rancher, overly sweet and candy-like.
Appearance: (3- average) Looked like a basic cider; still gold with a small ring of white head that was quickly gone.
Flavor: (4- below average) Matches the nose; maybe a little less sweet, but still pre-teen girly swill.
Palate: (2- below average) light body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, abrupt finish.
Overall: 83% folks? Really? Yuck. Thanks to my wife for letting me try this?

Meh. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the genre. Maybe I don't like a flat drink with no head. Maybe I like a beer that's a beer and not candy masquerading as alcohol. Or maybe it's just not very good.
