Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks avrashi. Pale yellow. Ripe cheese, solphur and apple aroma, sweet, apple-like taste, light body, sweet finish. Refreshing, thirst quencher.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Aroma: (3- notably flawed) Smelled basically like an apple Jolly Rancher, overly sweet and candy-like.
Appearance: (3- average) Looked like a basic cider; still gold with a small ring of white head that was quickly gone.
Flavor: (4- below average) Matches the nose; maybe a little less sweet, but still pre-teen girly swill.
Palate: (2- below average) light body, thin texture, fizzy carbonation, abrupt finish.
Overall: 83% folks? Really? Yuck. Thanks to my wife for letting me try this?

Meh. Maybe I'm just not a fan of the genre. Maybe I don't like a flat drink with no head. Maybe I like a beer that's a beer and not candy masquerading as alcohol. Or maybe it's just not very good.

Clear pee-like color with no head.
Nice apple nose, with some cinnamon and spice.
Sweet with a slight tartness, apple juice with a touch of wood.
A bit cloying but OK.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap. It pours a clear, golden body, still. Apples dominates the aroma completely, with some fruitysweetish notes. Quite sweet in the flavor too, at least it’s a bit sweeter than what I’d prefer. Medium body, semi-dry. Apple finish. Overall, certainly much better than the industrial crap available in Norwegian stores, but I’m still not impressed, it’s too one-dimensional. Well, wouldn’t shy away from repeating it though. 130630

Peetty good cider. A bit strong on the sour side though. I could use a bit more apple taste though.

Draft. Pours clear yellow gold. Very very sweet. Tastes sugary, mellow, not very crisp apple flavor. Smells like cider and sparkling apple champagne. Light body and low carbonation. Like apple juice.
