COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This cider has tropical notes from the elderflower balanced by a fresh, bright, fruity flavor reminiscent of lychee, pears, and citrus. This flower compliments the crisp apple flavor resulting in a balanced sweetness that brings the fruit and flower together.

Sample at Hopfest 2014. Comes a pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of fruit and floral. Taste is apple, fruit, and floral. Decent enough hot day drink.

Bottle. Sweet commercial apple juice and light pear aroma. Clear gold, no head per usual for cider. Sweet and slightly tart apple and distinctive perfumey elderflower flavor. Light body, lively carbonation, and slightly dry finish.

bottle. Light gold with minimal head. Very interesting flavor. Big apple, with a floral aspect. I wouldn’t have properly identified the extra taste if I didn’t already know what it was. This really works well for me, though I imagine it won’t appeal to everyone.

This might be a nice change of pace for folks who are fans of the alcoholic apple juice type of ciders but it really doesn’t work for me. It is clear yellow and headless. The nose is mild w/ a floral note being most evident, presumably from the elderflower. This is pretty sweet but at least not cloyingly so but not really tart enough to give it a crisp snap. The floral note combines w/ some apple juice character and the end result is something that reminds me quite a bit of Smarties candies. This is medium bodied w/ relatively mild carbonation and the end result both in flavor and texture is a sort of flat, boring cider that isn’t alltogether bad but also isnt particularly flavorful or good either.

12 oz. bottle, $2 single at Binny’s. And not date notched like the Sam Adams beers. Twist-off crown. First whiff is pretty yeasty for a cider. After that clears off, there’s some sweet apple smell, and a hint of berries. Pretty fizzy pour, with a head that’s gone as soon as I stop pouring. Pale yellow, though not as pale as the one Virtue cider I’ve had. Smell is a bit high on the apple side, but at least does not smell "processed." Taste is light on the apple, though, and has overtones of nuts and passionfruit. A slight note of wet hay in the next sip. A different taste to be sure.

Pours straw yellow with no head. Aroma of apple, honey, and flower. Sweet flavor with apple, honey, and flowery finish. Too easy to drink.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a minimal fizzy head, over a clear, light yellow (SRM 2) body.....nose is light apple, flowers, citrus hints, facial powder, peach.....taste is sweet throughout, hints of apple, peach, facial powder, citrus.....mouth feel light, carbonation fizzy, slight acid on finish. This is a highly carbonated, very sweet, floral cider, that reminds me of my grandmother’s cosmetic facial powder. BJCP 7/2/10/4/6

Bottle from Bishop Cider. Light pour. Aroma is light and floral. Taste is definitely showcasing the elderflower, sweet, and apple. Floral finish.

Among one of the better ones from the very sweet line of Angry Orchard ciders. The floral notes in the nose and flavor were pleasing and provided something else to take your mind off the overpowering sugary apple sweetness.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale gold with no head. Aroma of apples and citrus. Taste is light sweet. Mostly apples with a little tropical junk in the aftertaste. Light bodied with a slightly aticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Not one of my favorites though.
