2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12floz/355ml bottle into a weizen glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Apple, yes, but drier than the crisp apple that AO puts out. I donít know how to describe the other, more prominent aroma, so Iíll attribute it to the elderflower. It smells dry, mildly flowery, and a teeny bit soapy.
Appearance: Crystal clear pale yellow body with no head.
Taste: Oh wow, there is a definite lychee flavor at first and a little citrus at the end. Subtle dry apple throughout. Pleasant balance between sweet and dry.
Palate: Light body. A little sticky. Short, acidic, citrus-forward finish.
Overall: Pretty typical cider all around, except for that lychee flavor which was quite nice and refreshing.

Last of the sampler (finally). Another headless pour but this time it is a much lighter yellow. Smells like really cheap wine. Odd smell of berries or grapes with apple juice mixed in. Actually tastes better than it smells. A bit too sweet and still has that berry kind of character to it. Little citrus towards the end but overall just not all that great. OK no more hard cider for me. It is just not my style. Back to ales.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a light, clear golden with light carbonation and no head. Mild aroma of pear, tart apples and box-o-wine chardonnay. Taste is stronger, starting with crisp apple sweetness. Finishes dry and tart. Light and easy drinking, this is made for a summer day. Too light of a cider to be one of the better ones, but very far from offensive.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This one is better than the regular Angry Orchard, I like the floral like flavor that isnít too present, but a nice touch in the background.

Thoroughly ok. Tart, sweet, and not too floral. Before woodchuck reformulated their spring cider, it was way to floral. This had the floral note reigned in so it complements rather than takes charge.

Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow. Almost no head on an aggressive pour. Very sweet aroma dominated by apple, flower and champagne notes. Tastes the same. Did not disappoint.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Right off the bat, the aroma is worrying - smells like a cheap cider. Pours with no head, and with moderate carbonation. The best part of this cider is the first hit of the tongue - you get a pleasant rush of floral accents and juicy apple without being too citrusy or too dry and bitter. The biggest praise I can give to this cider is that it manages to keep everything light and in balance without sacrificing the flavour. Donít get me wrong, this isnít a premium cider, but at 7.99 for a 6 pack, this is perfect summer drinking.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The cider pours like apple juice, with a spritzing head that fizzles away to just a ring. My glass is full of carbonation bubbles, and a steady stream works its way to the top of the glass. The ciderís body is properly clear with a slight haze, and the cider leaves a light wet ring of lacing around the glass. On the nose, the cider smells like yeasty apples with hints of pear, what must be elderflower, and a very sour apple tint. On the tongue, the cider tastes tart and sweet with a touch of bitterness. The flavors begin as tart green apples which work their way into yeasty bread flavors with sweet fuji apple and elderflower (I thinkÖ) tastes. The finish is quick with sweet fruity apple with a touch of acidic green apple. The aftertaste is sweet and tart, much like a candied green apple. On the mouth, the cider feels spritzy with carbonation, slightly to the point of fierceness. The ciderís body is just on the upper side of light, and the mouth is left pretty clean with just a touch of tingle in the tongue from the fierce carbonation, and some saliva in the sides of the mouth. Overall, this is decent cider that I could sip on a cool summerís day. Itís a little too sweet for me to drink regularly, but it has some nice complexity and variance in apple flavors. Iím not an expert on tasting ciders, but Iíd this one is pretty good, especially for its price point. Try it.

This honestly taste like a weak apple juice with a hint of herbal elderflowers. The elderflower flavor was the best part.

Golden color. Light fizz. Smells sweet, of apple and pears. Mustard after taste. Odd, but still good. Would not turn it down if offered, but would not seek out either.
