COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cider House Collection #2: Inspired by the tradition of Ice Ciders in Quebec, Canada, Iceman uses the process of freezing the juice from culinary and bittersweet apples to produce a rich, complex and unique cider with a crisp apple taste and notes of caramel and toffee. This cider is sweet but not cloying. The addition of oak-aging yields a smooth and pleasing vanilla character. The result is a perfectly balanced, full-flavored cider that delights the palate with clean apple notes and a lingering toffee finish.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Boozy apple juice aroma. Light copper colour, crystal clear. Light apple juice with a tremendous kick. Pretty good.

Light copper body, load of tiny little bubbles floating to the surface, some head even when initially poured, but looks like a pale lager. Aroma of candied apples, cinnamon, cloves. I was glad it wasn’t overly sweet as I feared it might be. Sweet with kind of an acidic bitterness mixed in as well. Nice ice cider.

750 ml bottle. (Whole Foods) Washington, DC.
Clear golden colour with no head. Apples, toffee sweetness and vanilla in a sweet aroma. The flavour is apples, mild tartness, sweet toffee and vanilla. It’s quite obvious it’s strong (in abv) but surprisingly the flavour doesn’t reveal it. A bit too sweet to be really enjoyable.

So when I think hard cider I think of apples. And when I think of Apple wine I think of this stuff this dude used to make in college. It was free. And it was strong but it was AWFUL. This is the epitome of apples. Powerful... Intense... This is a great thing... I might actually buy this for myself one day...

For an apple wine this is pretty good. Its a little carbonated but I like that since dry ciders or wines suck. Other than that it just tastes like a strong hard cider.

Bottle, shared at Christmas Party. Clear bronze, medium carbonation. Apple mash and caramel, fairly brisk carbonation. An ice cider shouldn’t have a hard mouthfeel, but this one does, at least nearly. Simplistic, more sweet than complex. I’ve been spoiled by our Quebec ciders I guess.

This cider has a light gold color. It is sweet but not overly so. It has some bite to it and a really complex satisfying flavor. One of the best ciders I have ever tried. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thick viscous deep golden color. Aromas of brown sugar and pomme fruits with hints of vanilla, spice and faint wood. Sweet apple vanilla brown sugar and oak flavors. A little sweet for my tastes, but a nice sipper.

Bomber. Clear rich orange pour with minimal head. Apple, toffee, and vanilla. Comes off a touch boozy, but in more of a rich sweet way - it works.

Apple cider pour with a quick bubbly froth. Aroma is fairly tame. Apple cider and light vanilla and toffee Flavour is cider and deep rich caramel and vanilla. Very tasty, somewhat tangy cider finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
