Bottle. Pours a dark amber-gold with no head but visible carbonation. Nose is malic with savory overtones -- there’s some hard cheese, spice, and smoky notes. Surprisingly tart on the front of the tongue, then opening up into a honeyed sweetness and closing clean, sweet, and tart again. Finish is long with a touch of floral. Damn, that’s nice.

Bottle split with my wife over some games of Pirate Fluxx. Pours a clear amber gold with some small carbonation around the edges. Some soft funkiness on the nose, old apples, cider vinegar. Medium bodied, rather sweet and tart, with some nice gentle carbonation. Quite tart actually, more tartness and acidity than most ice ciders I’ve had. Somewhat unbalanced, comes off a bit cloying at times rather than complex. Lots of tart acidity, like a fresh granny smith. Lingers for ages. For the price ($15 for a 750, about a third of what most ice ciders go for) it’s a decent intro to ice ciders I guess.

Bottle. Pours with a deep orange hue, perfectly clear and carbonated. White ring, some lace, some legs. Tannic and lightly sulfuric aroma. Sweet apple, lightly yeasty/bready with some zesty acidity. Flavors are sweet and slightly out of balance. There is some acidity (even strong) but it is still cloying at this strength. Some tannin, some oak, baked apple and lemony acidity. Peppery alcohol burn, but miles too sweet for any balance. Low carbonation, with a fuller body.

22 dec 2012, bottle. Light gold, clear, some bubbles. Nose is a very dry cider and faint oak. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Wow, I'm really disappointed. This is just a decent cider with a bit of alcohol. Faintly dry, moderately sweet. I expected a lot more from an iced cider.

750 ml. bottle, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Pours old golden with no head, there is some carbonation bubbles floating to the surface. Aroma is cidery, overripe apples, alcohol. The taste is the same, moderately creamy, apples. Body is pretty full, sticks around long after the swallow. Not bad, was hoping for more.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Pours still, clear deep old gold. Aroma is of wet dog, apples, leather, fresh chopped wood; not very aromatic. Taste is nice, tart and savory, finishes dry and bitter. Alcohol is noticeablely strong, but it doesn’t taste 10%. Carbonation is fairly soft, mouthfeel is slick. It’s good, but maybe not as good as I was expecting.

750 c&c from the Arden BevMo. Pours orange gold with a few bubbles. Smooth "apple cider" aroma. Very clean aroma. Near full body. Flavor is tart, a bit woody, with strong apple flavor. It’s a joy in the mouth. Goes sweet/tart. Gets a small touch oaky. Great stuff.
