COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Traditional Dry cider is made in the style of English draft ciders. This cider is bittersweet and slightly spicy with a bright apple aroma. The dryness makes you pucker and look forward to another sip.

12oz twist-off bottle, green label. Clear gold color. No head. Not much aroma in this one. Just the slightest hint of a vinous characteristic. Fresh slice of a Granny Smith. Flat flavor, no sweetness at all. In fact you can barely tell it is a cider. Some tartness in the finish, very thin bodied. Overall, I like this AO best of the three I’ve sampled. Because it lacks all of the sugary sweetness the Crisp & Ginger offer, I don’t think this Traditional Dry will sell well at all. If I were to purchase any of these AO Ciders, it would be this one. (Sampled side-by-side with Angry Orchard Crisp Apple.) (3383)

bottle - Golden, minimal head, tart apple aroma. The taste was sweet but as the name indicates it wasn’t as sweet as the ginger version. It finishes moderately dry and crisp.

Poured into a pint glass. A clear, orange to yellow color and lots of bubbles. Smells like Granny Smith apples with a little lemon to it. Sweet taste that moves towards bitter but not quite pucker dryness. High carbonation, light and crisp body. A tasty cider but not quite dry enough.

Bottle - pours clear gold quickly disappearing head and some carbonation. Aroma red and green apples. Taste is tart and a little syrupy sweet. Palate is a tad dry, but not as dry as I was expecting from the discription. Very drinkable, but leans a little alco-pop.

This bottled cider from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a typically carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body and a spiderweb lacing. The aroma was golden apple and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of dry red apples. A quaffable cider that I would consider drinking again.

Bottle at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a nice dry apple note with a bit of tartness towards the finish. Flavor starts with tart apples with some sweet undertones and a dryness in the finish.

12oz bottle from The Grapevine
Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head
Aroma: Sweet red apples
Taste: Apples and sugar
A decent cider. I like the Apple Ginger better than this one.

Pours a clear pale gold. Aroma is tart apple juice, light bready yeast, a little spicy yeast and apple skins. Flavor is tart apple juice, straw, a little spice and granny smith apple. Sweetness and candy-like notes, like found in most mass produced ciders I’ve had, are notably missing. That’s not really a bad thing. Light dry and acidic body with a light, but fairly sharp carbonation. Pretty tasty.

This beer tastes like carbonated apple juice. I like apple juice, so it’a all good in the hood. A slight tartness too.
