Our Traditional Dry cider is made in the style of English draft ciders. This cider is bittersweet and slightly spicy with a bright apple aroma. The dryness makes you pucker and look forward to another sip.

The aroma is sweet apples and alcohol. The appearance is golden with no head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall this is an average cider but not dry.

Bottle from Frederick wine. Pours apple colored with very little head and without a ton of carbonation. A slight apple twinge in the nose. Taste is a little sweeter than expected. (shockingly it tastes like apples.). There’s some dryness in the finish to prevent it from becoming to cloying. I don’t thnk the folks in Boston are going to take over the world with this one but its a solid example of the style.

Dull, medium sweet, mellow, half-baked apple aroma. Good, funny label. Clear, medium light gold, filmy white head. Fairly crisp and sour, moderately apple-astringent. Medium body, low carbonation. New Leaf Market.

12oz. Bottle: No real aroma. Poured amber in color with a tiny, white head around the edges only. Clear. Very slightly sparkling. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes like apples. Medium body. Very dry texture. Sweet apple finish. It is exactly what it claims to be.

5/2/12. 12oz bottle. Clear dark golden pour, much like apple juice, with a small, fizzy off-white head that’s gone instantly. Tart, dusty apple aroma with a ton of yeast. Surprisingly sweet and slightly tart apple flavor, again with a big almost dirty yeast presence. Not that dry and not that great.

Bottle at the Casanova Beer Cave festival. Light golden pour. Seems like a combo of apple cider and a dry wine. Pretty tasty.

Bottle. Clear golden. Apple juice aroma. Musty apple wine flavor. Very dry and astringent. Light to medium body.

Bottle, clear light golden with still body, aroma and flavor is less sweet and more musty apple than woodchuck, namesake dry finish

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a clear deep gold color with a small white ring around the edge of the glass. The nose is commercial apple juice, slight earth, and cheese notes. The flavor starts rather sweet and then slightly tart, finishing slightly sweet and earthy. Light to medium body with average carbonation. The shifts in flavor are rather jarring making it a little unpleasant to drink. Not my favorite for sure.
