COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Traditional Dry cider is made in the style of English draft ciders. This cider is bittersweet and slightly spicy with a bright apple aroma. The dryness makes you pucker and look forward to another sip.

A sugary, apple aroma on the nose ending with a tart note. The appearance is apple juice gold with minimal carbonation. Essentially still. The flavor is like watery apple juice with a green apple tartness on the end. It also has some white wine ester character. High acidity. The mouthfeel is watery with a little tannin noticeable on the end. Sugar coats my mouth on the finish. Overall, it's a poor quality cider that lacks the profile of bittersweet and bittersharp apples that are found in good examples. It is also too sweet to be called a dry cider. The green apple flavor is a fermentation flaw. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Methinks the orchard is angry because its apples have been used to create such a dull drink. And the additives pretty well quash the usage of "traditional" on the label. A vigorous pour produces a bubbly yellow body, pretty pale, with a slender head that rapi9dly reduces to a ring. The aroma is light, some sweet apples with some of the skins. The taste is straightforward, sweet apples, much stronger than the nose. Not much here, but easy to down on a hot and muggy day.

This was poured into a pint glass and a wine glass. The appearance was the same in both glasses: glossy yellow color with a decent transparency about it to allow bubbly carbonation to be seen rising pretty fast. The smell had some sweet apples with a decent crisp dried pears in the background. The taste was mainly the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a mediocre sessionability as this had a harsh vinous quality about making it hard to put down the ol gullet. Overall, another strike out. I donít think I could return to this.

Transparent golden color, no head. Sort of a slightly fermented apple aroma, not super strong. Decent dryness, slightly sour. Pretty good overall, not overly sweet but also not super dry either.

Bottle: Golden, good clarity and topped with an inch of white head. Good apple notes in the nose and taste, carbonated well. Refreshing.

Golden pour. Nose of dry tart apple, with a slight tinge. Flavor is overly sweet apple, slightly tart, with a trail minerals. Meh.

Golden yellow cider. Some tartness and apple juice on the nose. Quite flat carbonation. Quite nice sweetness. Strong apple flavor. Dry after taste.

Rated on 6-19-2012 (Bottle) This cider has a small very fizzy white head that mostly diminishes, transparent yellow body, and very fizzy carbonation. The aroma is apples and sweet. The flavor mimics the aroma plus a very dry finish. The mouthfeel is lively carbonation and this cider is medium bodied. There is not much character to this cider as it is apples, apples and apples.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate sweet and tart apple with a touch of dust. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a very thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate sweet apple. The finish becomes a little more tart apple skins. Itís light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, itís a little sweet to be called dry, but itís a decent thirst quencher.

Amber in color with a sweet apple aroma. It has very little/no head. It is sweet with a slight dryness.
