Cask @ Paisley Beer Festival 2010. Slightly hazy golden colour, white bubbles. Aroma is slightly hoppy, lemonade, fruity. Flavour is lemonade, hops. Slightly bitter finish.

Cask by handpump at Four Marys, Linlithgow (25 May 12) - slightly hazy golden ale, small creamy white head, sweet malty aroma, good temperature, grassy, biscuit, quite refreshing

500 ml bottle. From Carnoustie, Scotland.
Cloudy deep golden colour with small frothy off-white head.
Strong piney hops, bitterness and mild yeast.
Malt, grain, hops and mild bitterness in flavour. Bitterness in aftertaste.
Very tasty for a such a low abv brew.

Bottle from Spar in Carnoustie. Pours a golden colour with a white head. Slight hop aromas. Slightly bitter flavours. Nice but no more.

Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.
Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a small, frothy to fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, dusty straw, acidic notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, overriped fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101202]

Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, day 3 on 2 December 2010. Cloudy gold colour. Not much condition. Clean and quite dry. More of a bitter than a golden ale I’d say - quaffable enough but not particularly hop forward. Probably would have showed better with a more lively condition.

Pigs Ear. Hazy gold beer, no head. Dry palate, light. Dry orange marmalade. Dull and over dry.

cask at SRAF 2010 ... nice dark copper ... so not really gold ...sofdt woody nose ... sweet toffee dry hop ... soft woody malts ... average but ok
