Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish. Better than my expectations. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 8, 2006 This draft brew from the Oktoberfest Zinzinati poured a head of medium sized white colored bubbles that was fully diminished and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body. The almost non-existant aroma was malty. The mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mellow aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild astringent malt hops and mild orange. Not one that I would buy again. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 29, 2006 Sample at AleFest Dayton: Well the beer drinkers of Ohio have spoken and this is the result. Dark golden color with a thin white head that does not last. Minimal lacing too. The aroma is difficult to detect, but there is a bit of malt in there. Light-bodied and clean with mild malt and fruit flavors. The finish is short and sweet. While I can appreciate what A-B is trying to do here, the execution leaves something to be desired. Aromas of light bready malt. Flavor is bready but there is some fruity sweet flavor there as well and a whole bunch of alcohol. Mostly evident in the finish which is bready yet quite alcoholic. Definitely better than a budweiser but not exactly a micro either.. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
