I got a bottle of this while vacationing in the 1000 Islands from my good friend Steve B. No aroma to speak of. Very smooth malty beer. Goes down very easy and fast on a hot day. Enjoable.

I’ll give AB a few extra points for trying a little harder, but this is obviously nothing to write home about. It tastes better than regular Bud (but then again, so does just about every other beer ever made).

Well the kings of hype have produced another pale lager. Wow why hadn’t they thought of that before? Pours yellow to golden in color, clear with high carbonation. The aroma is of mild bready malt, not much hops slight yeast. Flavor is similar and similarly mild, this is considerably maltier than Bud, not very bitter. Real crisp and clean finish. While this is not an earth shattering reinvention of the style, this is a marked improvement over their other products.

OK, this is the one Anheuser-Busch product which actually has something resembling a real beer color. It’s a pale golden, with a foamy white head that quickly goes away. Fairly well carbonated, as expected. It has a slightly Saaz hops type aroma, very light, but noticeable. Taste is like a watered down pilsner, not world class as the name inplies, but not totally awful either, although there is a slight metallic taste that is somewhat off-putting. There’s a malty backbone behind the hops. In a nutshell, while it’s not a "world-class beer", it’s not anywhere near as bad as the rest of the Anheuser lineup. If there’s a gun to your head and you HAVE to choose an A-B product, make it this one.
