Not worth the hype or the price. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 6, 2004 bottled: tried this last night because one of my friends was indulging, or so he thought he was. cant comment on the color it was in the beautiful artistic green bottle. maybe slightly bitter skunk smell, but not much of an aroma. fizzy bubbly stuff that had just been freshly pumped with CO2. inside the oral cavity it feel like budweiser and tastes a little bit different like they just added some slight bittering hops, slight, trying to give you the feel of european pilsner but not quite hitting the mark. diluted and adjuncts...corn. have fun with this one, it wont be around long. khayman70 (154), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 3, 2004 Well, America has finally made something as lightstruck as every other green bottle using country. It does have a decent hop kick, but the strange off flavorswere not impressive. I had to try this because of the hype.....which isn’t as deserved as it could have been. A-B has put out a couple drinkable beers and this is hoppy enough for me to handle. I still don’t understand the green bottle thing? Maybe in a brown bottle it would be a bit more pleasant. sfontain (508), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 3, 2004 Given the higher rating, I expected this to be leaps and bounds above Budweiser. Wrong. Pours the same transparent gold color with basically no head. Only this time, there is some skunk to the aroma and flavor. An utterly horrid bitter, metallic finish; is that supposed to be hops? Super watered-down, as usual. +1 overall for the cool bottle. BrewEd (182), Wilmington, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2004 Marketing issues aside; this is not a bad beer. A good pilsner - no skunkiness or soured flavors. It’s the best thing that Anheuser puts out of which I’m aware. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 26, 2004 Who in their right mind would be their beers in a green bottle.....Well, this stinky heineken smelling brew pours a golden hue, with a fluffy cream coloured head. Wow, this is really great...for a beer from AB. And actually, it sucks. Super carbonation, metallic, bitter and gross. Why even bother? Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2004 I didn't think this was Bud tasting at all. Actually, it was pretty good. Label says a Pilsener and the head stayed around for a good long time. Nice aroma and mellow taste.
