Initial sniff and taste hints of a Czech lager, but fades quickly into "buddishness."
Relatively inoffensive with food, but if it's Czech lager you want, go with the real thing--Czechvar, Pilsner Urquell or Staropramen. Many good Polish beers also blow this away--Okocim, Piast, Zywiec...

does not count  Aug 21, 2008 LOVE this Beer, it’s the ish! Sure hate Anheuser gave it the "un-lubed job" by dropping the "Select" moniker and giving it to the Budweiser brand...So Rainbow!!!! (no offense). Hard to find too!

Aug 3, 2008 This has that typical green bottle skunkiness. Light bodied, well I should say this is almost not beer like, more like a beer soda, overcarbonated and below average.

Jul 9, 2008 Pale yellow color with thick white head. Kind of skunky aroma and watered down taste. Not very good.

Jul 5, 2008 This tasted like it was Aheuser’s attempt at getting some of Heineken’s share. It is skunky and gross just like Heineken. Love it or Leave it!

May 10, 2008 Clear golden pur with a mild skunk aroma. It’s nothing really special. I might like it a little better then most anheuser busch products.
