3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75 cl. bottle poured in to a trappist glass. Dark brown colour with a fat, off-white cap. Sweet aroma with an overwhelming amout of marzipan, lots of caramel malts, dark, dried fruits and spicy, Christmas-like notes. Some tobacco. Taste is bordering heavy sweet, with lots of sugar. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with cough syrup, spices, brown cookies, some nuts and toasted notes. Lots of flavour, not much balance or finesse. This beer is probably best when drunk in December.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reddish brown colour with a big off-white head. Very sweet aroma (malts, raisins but also cloying macaroons). Dry, bitter flavour with some dark fruits (raisin). Unfortunately, the overwhelming sweetness more or less ruins the beer. Especially since the commercial description says »a light refreshing impression«. Absolute bollocks!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I think this beer is defently made for the danish market about 80% danish raters. Lucky enough we could taste some of it at the Ober Christmas beer festival in 2006. A very nice and complex beer. A lot of different smels and also a very special taste experience

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear brown with light brown mostly lasting head. Soursweet and yet somewhat creamy on the palate. Long lasting finish. Brilliant beer which almost begs to be served with food.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thick estrery and alcoholic sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is sweet with slight notes of cloves and alcohol. Not fantastic in anyway, but passable with flæskesteg og rødkål...

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The aroma has prunes and other dark fruit, but also quiet a lot of malt and a bit of alcohol too. The flavor has a lot of caramel very nice and of course the fruit like raisens and prunes. A very nice beer and it was the 2nd best beer tastet that day - best was St. Bernadus Abt. 12 :-)
