COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Anker Blonde is brewed artisnally with the best natural ingredients by the established Anker Brewery since 1369. This top fermented lager is very refreshing thanks to its balance between pale malt and refined hops. Tastes quite fresh at 6° - 8° C.

Bottle, 33 cl with label Margriet. Golden color, rocky white head lacing nicely. Aroma: yeast, a light spicy touch fruity. Taste begins sourish-sweetish, fruity, with little malt notes. Mild hop bitter aftertaste. Medium body. Very good brew. The brewer himself saids that Margriet not exactly is the same beer as Anker Blond.

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy blond color ale with a super huge foamy head with good retention and perfect retention. Aroma of coriander, sweet fruit ester with a touch of peach and some Belgian malt. Taste is very refreshing with great notes of Belgian malt with lightly sweet notes and great spices mix with light notes of coriander and orange peel with fruity ester. Body is quite full with perfect carbonation. This one really hits the spot and I quiet enjoy those easy to drink Belgian pale ale in the summertime.

amber-blond colour with a dense and fine creamy head, fruity aroma (pear, apple), yeasty notes, medium to full-bodied, a bit acidic in the beginning, decent finishing bitterness, long fruity and yeasty finish - fresh and lively; a very charming beer - thanks to Jean-Claude Germond for this beer !

330mL bottle from the LCBO, packaged and labeled as Margriet, I should add with graphic design that is at least 5 times more dramatic than the bottle in the photo. Pours a hazy bright gold with a large, rich white head. Very champagne like. The aroma is very, very nice. Dry yeastyness with some tums, candi sugar (minor), and lemon zesty to the max. Very pleasant on the nose. The flavour is a nice blend of sweet pale malts and very refined hop presence (like in the description!), spritzy with some nice citrus zing in the finish and aftertaste. Minor fruity esters, peach and pear. Nice! Very tasty brew, and it’s actually pretty refreshing in this summer evening weather, despite the 6.5% abv, which isn’t all that apparent anyways. I will likely buy much more of this.

Bottle at Den Stillen Genieter. Sour bubblegum flavor hints at the presence of wheat. Nice character for a blonde, a pleasant surprise.

Bought at LCBO in Canada. This is a very fresh tasting beer that would be really good in summer. Very active in the mouth. Sold here as margriet.

Balanceadíssima, refrescante. Creme muito denso e consistente. Perfeita combinação, tanto no aroma quanto no sabor, de lúpulo, florais e levemente frutado. Retrogosto muito bom, sem ser amargo.

As Anker Margriet. Slightly hazy, very pale straw colour. The nose is a bit spicy. A touch of light dry crackery Belgian malts. A little bit of straw-like herbal character. Moderately spicy yeast that integrates nicely with some herbal hoppiness. Fairly light, but quite a tasty Belgian pale.

Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Hazy golden, small creamy head.. Light citrusy nose. Malt and vanilla flavour, soft mouthfeel, balanced sweetness. Velvetty honey finish. Subtile, but with great quality.

The label said this was brewed for a special event in Mechelen in 2005, and it was sold as Margariet. Sweet, fruity aroma of a tripel. Gold color and more clear than cloudy. Light carbonation. More sweet fruit and malt in the flavor. A good beer, well balanced and with good flavor.
